Dear AP Psych Student, Some advice? Do your vocab. A) It gets you an easy 100 if you do it right. B) It will help you review everything for your test. Mind Maps help too for this case. They'll improve your grade AND you review. Personally, my favorite project was the soundtrack of emotions. Making a whole playlist that connects with the vocab I learned in psych was pretty fun. What I would leave out is the celebrity brain. Although, I may say that because I was sick through the whole time of attempting to do it. Next year, I would love the review projects at the end of the year like we did in Econ. That would be a great way to review while also knocking another grade out. You guys will do fine, cuz you got an awesome Psych teacher in Ms. Halfen making sure you learn everything. Have fun next year! Pavan M

https://www.psychologytoday.com/ca/blog/turning-straw-gold/201305/impatient-why-and-how-practice-patience Psychology behind Patience. Hi! I'm Captain America, here to tell you one of the most important qualities any kid or soldier can have. Patience. Sometimes, we get too caught up in life that we become impatient. This can lead to anger and frustration which can be detrimental in a social or work situation. Here are some ways to help build patience. First, one way to help yourself is to find out what you do if you're impatient? Do you clench your fists? Do you stomp? Knowing these responses can help you know if you're acting out of line. From here, you can act more patient by assessing the situation more. Another is a mental distraction. A busy traffic jam when you're trying to go home and watch Riverdale . Try making count of every make and model of the cars beside you. Hope you learned some stuff!

Personality

I’m an ENFP, which according to 16 personalities. This means I’m more social, yet I enjoy making close connections rather than being the life of the party. I crave freedom and creativity rather than stability and security. I would say this is VERY accurate, as I enjoy social interactions especially with close friends. I also don't enjoy guidelines that restrict me from being creative. Although, I don't always have the effort to follow through my creativity. None of the BBC tests worked (sad lyfe). However, I was able to take a sorting house test! I have always believed I was a Ravenclaw, according to Pottermore. When I took the test, I was Ravenclaw again. I once again totally agree with this house. Here, "those of wit and learning, will always find their kind" (Rowling The Sorcerer's Stone ). Next, I took the IAT exam, which checks if I am sexist or not. The quiz kept asking me questions about categories and put names or words related to careers. Turns out I ...

Robot hand

https://www.dezeen.com/2019/03/15/robot-hand-touch-shadow-robot-company-syntouch-haptx/ This article is interesting because it allows humans to feel "remotely." Engineers in California have made a robotic arm tool that is connected to a robotic arm. This robotic arm, when touching an item, can be felt by the separate robotic arm. I thought this was crazy, and it was amazing how one can be able to do that. Even with wearing a glove, it should feel like you're holding nothing.

I was born on January 14th, 2001. Growing up, I was a naughty kid. Not because I wanted to be naughty, but because I could never focus and thus could never remember directions. In 3rd Grade, I was diagnosed with ADHD, which began to explain a lot about myself. It was hard for me to make friends, but eventually I was able to be with people who were patient with me. I will graduate this May, earlier than I usually see graduation. I'm going to Texas A&M University, and will major in Computer Science. After receiving a B.S. in Computer Science, I plan on getting an MBA, as a combo with computer science and business is becoming more prevalent in today's society. I can't control my love life, but I would prefer to find a stable job income before looking for love. I would want to work as a solutions architect, which is a computer science job, but is not restricted to a desk all day. However, when I find love, it will be someone I enjoy every moment with. I don't really c...

Post 3: Bio Heroes

My birthday is January 14th, so my hero has powers related to the hippocampus(memory and storage) and norepinephrine(alertness and reaction time). *A Sam Raimi Spider-Man opening flies across the screen as Danny Elfman's composition plays in the background* Hernie Danoff was a typical high school genius. His teachers were shocked at his amazing photographic memory. TMSCA, Science Bowl, Decathlon, Olympiads; the man won it all. However, Hernie never liked taking life slow. He always had to get things done quick. He'd finish his tests and quizzes 20 minutes early. Hernie never got the hint to go slower. However, when he was rushing his chem labs one day, he took off his lab goggles and the opposing group next to him spilled some unknown chemicals on his head (courtesy of Rahul). Hernie was rushed to the hospital, unconscious. When he woke up not 5 minutes from being put in his hospital bed. Hernie could remember every millisecond of his life, in detail. Memories of the bright l...
